Who is K4NYM?

My name is Bill and I am amateur radio station K4NYM. I am primarily a portable operator based in Central Florida. I was a morse intercept operator in the United States Air Force, so it should come as no surprise that morse code is my favorite mode. I am part of the Parks on the Air program (POTA), so you will find me doing most of my portable work at state and federal parks that are part of the POTA program. My call does have a meaning. I am am die-hard New York Met fan, so K4NYM stands for “New York Mets”.
